Ljugarns Semesterby & Camping (Ljugarn’s Holiday Village and Camping Site) is on Gotland’s east coast. It is close to bathing beaches, activities and restaurants. In recent years, the holiday village has been thoroughly modernised.
Situated next to a child-friendly sandy beach in picturesque Ljugarn, the holiday village’s cabins are in a forest area that offers a certain degree of seclusion. Close by, there is a nature conservation area with fascinating rock formations. Ljugarn has a beautiful coast and you are never far from lovely bathing spots and glorious walks. The holiday village offers various activities. Why not hire a kayak or a bicycle or take advantage of our boule and beach volleyball courts! For children, there is a playground with lots to do. There is a small convenience store at the reception.
Ljugarn has one of Gotland’s finest bathing beaches – sandy, gently shelving, 1,500 metres long and child-friendly.
The holiday village is only 40 km from Visby. Golfers will appreciate Ljugarn’s golf course, only one kilometre from the village. Approximately 15 km from Ljugarn, there are the courses at När and Stånga.
Within a limited area, the holiday village has wireless internet.

Route description
Ljugarn is on Gotland’s east coast, around 40 km from Visby.
Take road 143 from Visby to Ljugarn. When you arrive in Ljugarn, drive to Ljugarns Snickerifabrik (signposted “Lokal Info”) and then turn left towards the sea. On the beach road you will see a sign (“Reception och Lokal Info”) that will take you to Ljugarns Semesterby & Camping.
The earliest check-in time is 15.00 and the latest check-out time is 12.00.
Distances: Visby 40 km, shops 1 km, restaurant 500 m, coast/bathing spots 100 m, bus stop 500 m.
Connections: Daily bus services to Visby.
In the holiday season, the reception is open from 08.00 to 20.00. At other times, please call before arrival.
